6-12″ tall x 6-12″ wide. Each ‘Elijah Blue’ Fescue Grass plant forms a handsome blue-green clump with slender foliage, adding interest to the landscape. Fescue grasses are famous for being clump-forming, and thus not chocking out other less tough plants near them. In other words, this is one grass that doesn’t overrun everything around it. Plant in dry to average, well-draining soil in full sun – it can tolerate part sun, but the foliage color will be diminished. Cut back in late winter/early spring to encourage new growth. Divide or re-plant every 2 or 3 years for the most aesthetically pleasing results. Since these compact plants do not spread, you can plant them close together for a full, dense look.
